Eugene “Abdul Muhaymin Al-Salim” Priester, III ’24, and Harvard Divinity School grad Salma Kazmi have been appointed to TISA’s Presidential Search Committee. They join Atty. Roula Allouch (Chair), Dean Dr. Yasir Qadhi, Executive Vice President Dr. Jimmy Jones, and Board Chair Dr. Iqbal Unus. Board Chair/Acting President Dr. Iqbal Unus also announced recently that Salma Kazmi and Dr. Athar Haq have been appointed to the TISA Advisory Board effective immediately. Salma Kazmi was the first Executive Director of the Boston Islamic Seminary, and Dr. Athar is the founder of A Continuous Charity, an entity that provides students with interest-free higher education loans.
