At its biweekly meeting on September 4, 2024, the TISA Academic Council voted to approve a new 5-course, 15-credit certificate program aimed at enhancing the skills of individuals in leadership roles within Islamic centers and Muslim nonprofits.

Dean Dr. Yasir Qadhi stated that “This new program is designed to give Muslim American leaders another valuable credential while strengthening our institutions”. The Dean further stated “This program is designed for those who want to study with TISA’s world-class faculty without the considerable commitment of pursuing one of our degree programs.” The program will launch in the Spring of 2025 (January 2025) insha’Allah.
