Dr. Iqbal Unus, Board Chair/Acting President, recently announced the election of two new alumni members of the TISA Board of Directors. Atty. Nazish Mithaiwala ’23 and Ustadh Michael Wolfender ’24 were unanimously elected at the Trustees’ annual meeting on May 16, 2025. “As TISA alums, Atty. Nazish and Ustadh Michael bring important perspectives to the board as a seasoned attorney and well-respected Quran teacher,” stated Dr. Unus. “We look forward to our newest board members assisting us in working toward a strong, sustainable future for their alma mater. We welcome their energy and focus.”
