Student Spotlight – Nimao Ali

Ms. Nimao Ali is an inspirational leader, chaplain, mentor, former principal, public speaker, and social activist. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Islamic Chaplaincy at The Islamic Seminary of America (TISA).

Ms. Ali has served on various boards focused on education, equity, and community development. She has contributed to community and educational projects across North America and East Africa and has served as a Chaplain at Carleton University and, currently, at York University. She is also currently working with MAC-Masjid Toronto, supporting university MSAs and leading women’s halaqas.
