TISA hosted a hospitality suite at the 61st ISNA Convention in Dallas this year. The event attracted a wide range of Muslim American leaders who supported our mission. Prospective students had the opportunity to learn about our programs and courses. TISA faculty, including Dr. Jimmy Jones, Sh. Dr. Yasir Qadhi, and Ustadha Ieasha Prime as well as students and staff, engaged with the public and prospective students at the suite. Giveaways were offered at the booth, and many autographed books were distributed to the attendees. Additionally, there was a book signing session by TISA Board Chair, Dr. Iqbal Unus, featuring his book “A Caliph for our Times.”

Dr. Aasma Khandekar, daughter of our vice chair Dr. Alim Khandekar hosted a private conversation exclusively for Muslim women on leadership. The event featured TISA faculty members Sh. Dr. Tamara Gray, Sh. Dr. Rania Awaad, and Dr. Mona Islam.
