TISA sends 2 students to Interfaith Religious Workshop

TISA students Nazish Mithaiwala and Humma Arshad have been selected to represent TISA at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies (ICJS): Emerging Religious Leaders Intensive (ERLI). This workshop is scheduled for June 4-8 at the Pearlstone Center, Reisterstown, MD. According to ICJS, “The future of our religious communities depends on religious leaders who will be able to provide leadership in a religiously diverse world.”

Other Muslim students selected include representatives of Boston Islamic Seminary, Mishkah University, Rabata, and Tayseer Seminary. TISA’s Professor of Comparative Religion and Culture, Jimmy Jones, will serve as one of the faculty members.
