The TISA Staff Associate handles support tasks for TISA staff as needed. The position requires handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting students and visitors, as well as managing files, data entry, updating paperwork and other documents, maintaining classrooms and performing other general office clerk duties and errands. The candidate must be a good organizer, have strong data entry skills, be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, be proficient with MS Office products and Google Workspace and be a capable team player.

Job Type: Part-Time (20-30 hours per week)
Salary: $15 per hour
Reports to: Administrative Coordinator 

Job Description:
This job description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to this role. The office assistant will provide administrative and other support to Student Services and Development departments, and other TISA departments. This is an in-office position, requiring
some evenings and weekends. The office assistant is required to be present on Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays when TISA holds classes on weekends, and for special events and conferences.

1. Student Services
a. Serve as teaching assistant for classes (includes select weekends)
b. Managing video recording of weekend classes
c. Setup and maintenance of classroom, breakroom and supply room
d. Administer TISA on Demand (TOD)
e. Data entry and reporting
f. Copying, printing, and scanning
g. Other administrative tasks as assigned 

2. Development
a. Updating donor info in DonorPerfect

b. Running reports, creating forms, and managing basic data in DonorPerfect
c. Technical and administrative support in fundraising campaigns
d. Updating contact info in Constant Contact
e. Mailing donation receipts in a timely fashion
f. Assist with marketing, recruitment, special events/conferences

Clerical experience, preferably in an academic setting, or equivalency; the ability to work
independently and pay close attention to detail; demonstrated human relations, communication and organizational skills; and a commitment to provide excellent timely customer service required; typing and data entry skills.

● Experience as an office assistant
● Valid driver’s license
● Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
● Basic accounting skills
● Available to work weekends, as required
● Basic proficiency in DonorPerfect, WordPress, Constant Contact, Populi, and/or the ability to learn software quickly
