At The Islamic Seminary of America (TISA), we are nurturing leaders whose service becomes your sadaqah jariyah—a continuous charity that brings ongoing rewards. Our goal is clear: to equip emerging and established leaders with academic excellence and real-world skills, preparing them to be pillars of guidance in the communities they cherish.

Build Your Legacy with TISA!

What sets TISA apart? It is our holistic, independent approach to leadership education. As an independent institution, we provide authentic Islamic knowledge without external compromises. Our curriculum integrates classical Islamic sciences—like theology, jurisprudence, and spirituality—with contemporary leadership training—offering practical skills for modern challenges.

Our distinguished faculty includes:

With team-taught courses featuring 40% female faculty, we ensure a rich and diverse learning experience. TISA is committed to inclusivity, preparing leaders who reflect and serve our entire Ummah.

Our graduates don’t just learn—they engage in grassroots initiatives and real-world interfaith projects. Whether leading masajid, developing youth programs, or tackling pressing societal issues, they are making a tangible impact across North America.

Meet Some of Our Changemakers:

Anika Munshi, LPC came to TISA because she saw a crisis in our communities—Muslims struggling with mental health challenges as well as faith-based issues, but unable to find support that honors both their faith and emotional well-being.

Through TISA, she gained the tools to integrate Islamic knowledge with mental health advocacy. Today, she provides faith-based counseling to Muslims and advocates for Muslim mental health in our community.

How many more Anikas are out there—ready to serve, but needing the right training?

Your support provides scholarships for students like Anika who are addressing real, urgent needs.
